After the lunch, Kev's papa and grandma went home and the rest of us went to IKEA @ Tampines. It was raining heavily...
This IKEA is really badly situated, and their mgmt of crowd was very poor too.

IKEA closes @ 6pm tt day, and most of the shoppers only knew that when they entered IKEA. Bad omen... The escalator was faulty, and the staff there blocked it, so we can't even climb the escalator and had to wait for the lift. The lift seems to be taking its own sweet time, and the amount of ppl kept piling up until the staff there finally allows us to use the escalator... They shd have done tt earlier....

We didn't buy wat we intended to buy initially. We ended up buying a packet of $1.90 markers and the cheap and delicious hotdog sandwiches.

The shuttle bus location was a ultimate wrong choice, too. It was in the carpark and the ppl in the queue will be blocking some of the parking lots... Kinda dumb...
When we were in the queue at about 5.30pm, we still see a long queue of cars coming into IKEA. The cars were jammed there and they couldn't back out anymore, so they could only choose to stay in the line. By the time they entered the carpark and find a parking lot, i think IKEA shd be closing liao...
Btw, the frequency of the shuttle bus is one bus per half hour! So long! Don't they know it is festive season and there will be more ppl than usual??? It is kinda common sense, isn't it?
We ended up taking SBS bus instead, diaoz...

It was a really BAD EXPERIENCE, and it scares us off. Dun think we will ever visit tt outlet again. It will most probably be our 1st and the last time there.
It was so tiring after the trip to IKEA, Zzzzzz.

Kev stayed at Bernard's house tt night.

I dunno if anyone rmbr my post for 24 December 2005, I took a picture of a cat resting on top of the ATM...

Again, on the same date this year (2006), the same cat is there on top of the same ATM at Eunos MRT. Wahaha!!! Notice tt the ATM board has changed??? But the cat is the same wor... I guess it's bcoz every christmas eve is so cold and this cat find tt ATM to be the best place to keep itself warm ;p

Rachael turns out to be NTU student too and she is same age as me ;p

Being a 1st year student, she seems really anxious about the release of results. I think i might have been like her when i was in year 1 sem 1 ba...
But now, it starts to get kinda meaningless... Does results really matter so much?? I am really unsure what is the answer for this qn, so dun ask me.

Anyway, Kev, his mum, and sisters came to Chinatown to buy things, so they came to visit me when i was working. I met them when i was having my meal break too ;p I tot they had already left... luckily, I met them @ the Hawker while they were leaving. Kev accompanied me for my meal break. Thks dear for coming to pick me up after work... i know u are very tired...

I was in the for almost the whole day, waiting for Kev to finish his lessons so tt we can go walk walk.

Spent my time in the lab blogging and checking mails. I tried reading the chinese story book, but the words are kinda small so i decided to close the book, wahaha! I dunno when will i ever finish the book...
Kev's lessons ended early, and we met Min and Ronald in the canteen while we were leaving school. Ronald was makan-ing.

We left for City Hall to go shop shop. We went to Marina Sq to have our dinner @ Mac and we moved on to Suntec Carefour. We felt so tired after walking around for a while and decided to go back his home to eat tang1 yuan2 instead. Today is Dong1 Zhi4 wor ;p

Went to Eunos Pri Sch to return the little girl's wallet which i found last fri.
When i stepped into EPS, i find the place familiar even though it was my 1st visit since its renovation. Oh... "I Not Stupid Too" took a few shots here, tt's why i find here look familiar ;p
Always tot tt the design of Jerry's pri sch in the show was quite unique, but i never tot tt it was my alma mater.

Met my mama to go Parkway after that. We had our lunch @ Jack's Place. Even though we ordered for medium-cooked beef, i still find the beef a bit too bloody. And true enough my mama and i had stomachache when we got home. Perhaps it was becoz both our stomach were already not feeling well in the morning.

My kor kor finally got back his voice... haha!!! He even sang Karaoke. But this also means he can argue with my papa. I guess arguments had become their way of communication le... It had been quite peaceful the last few weeks when my kor kor lost his voice, wahaha!!!

Went to meet Kev @ Eunos MRT Stn in the evening. I was early and have nothing to do. So I went to the "Add Value Machine" to see the my travelling info in the EZlink card. This is something i always do when i am waiting for ppl @ the MRT stn.
Something caught my eyes... $1.33 was deducted from my EZlink bal on 20th Dec 2006, 18:22, for taking bus svc number 63... This is weird...
Taking Bus 63 to my hse from Eunos MRT or vice versa only cost $0.87, unless i took Bus 63 to city hall or tiong bahru area from my hse... I took my card away from the machine, and i sat down and tot thru what i was doing the day before.

Eh... I had not taken Bus 63 the day before! Something is really wrong. I went back to the machine and double checked. It confirmed my doubts. It was an incorrect deduction.
Kev came and we went to the ticket office. The officer issue a receipt for refund, and ask me to come back one week later for the refund. Kev finds the incident ridiculous too. I hope that they would gimme an explanation when i go back to get my refund.

It was not the $1.33 that really matters...
It was not as if the machine make a wrong deduction or i had forgotten to tap my EZlink card when i alight the bus.
It was the fact that my EZlink card balance can be deducted even though i did not take the bus. Or rather, when I was not even @ the bus stop waiting for tt bus!
This mistake is kinda ridiculous... and a bit scary... I wonder if this is the 1st mistake... Or have I been always paying for services that i have not used?

Hardly anyone will go to the "Add Value Machine" to check their EZlink card bal details everyday. I happened to find out about the mistake coz i was checking them out of boredom. Who have time for boredom everyday???
They can't expect me to be working like a machine, calculating and recording my EZlink card deductions and balances, do they? I think i have other better things to do.

Anyway, we went to have dinner @ Eunos Hawker Centre after tt.
Another tiring day for Kev. I guess Visual Basic is really too tough for people like us with no programming background and insufficient finance knowledge.

Me and my brother went to meet my mummy @ Eunos for lunch, and we bought some CDs and VCDs. Again, updating my collections of Karaoke. I noe nearly none of the songs... But i know the singers. Think i gotta update myself a bit ;p

Was trying to finish "The five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom, so tt i can return it to simei when sch reopens. But i still could not finish it, guess i will have to finish it by today.

My mum was clearing some of the LDs we bought last time, and we found a show tt we bought but have never watched it before, "Puppets Master". It's a Horror Movie, however the story was not exciting at all. Juz some scary scenes here and there. And yah, i finished watching "恶灵05" the other day. The story overall was exciting and quite well structured until the last part. Its ending kinda spoil the whole show as it was quite slip slop.

Kev was really tired from the Visual Basic Programming Lesson, he slept most of the time after he reached home. We wrote some Christmas cards tgt ;p


Christmas is in another 5 days, yet i dun have the christmas mood @ all... BUT I....
Received a Christmas card from Irene!!! Kinda Surprising but i guessed it once i saw ur address. Coz you are my only friend who lives in Ang Mo Kio! Wahahaha!
Thank you very much, it's my 1st christmas card this year...

Christmas cards have been getting fewer and fewer year by year... Kinda money saving for my side too. I used to spend quite some amt of money buying christmas cards when i was younger.
Anyway, i am not a christian, so it shd not be any lose to me if i dun celebrate christmas @ all...

Met Kev @ Bedok to go library for a while before we went to TP bookshop.

Tp changes quite a bit. Saw the new ITAS canteen, and it is taken over by some orgn since it becomes an air-conditioned foodcourt, named "Flavour". The food now does not look attractive @ all as compared to before its renovation. The stalls previously were all selling great food! And the canteen is always full of ppl esp. during lunch time. So we went to Biz sch instead.

And we found out tt Biz sch restaurant is gone, it is now replaced by 1st Avenue (which moved from level 3 left hand side un-noticeable corner to level 2 right hand side un-noticeable corner) and Cheers!

The western foodstall came out with new stuff like spaghetti and set meals. Kev felt cheated by the set meal as the fish and chips set meal has no chips, and the fish fillets were small. For a set meal, the chips was replaced with mashed potatoes, and they added 2 small pieces of garlic bread, one smal portion of fruit salad, and a small bowl of mushroom soup with few mushrooms in it. The meat portion given was smaller too. I wonder if they are cutting cost...

Met Cher Boon @ the canteen. His hair was blond... Diaoz... I couldn't recognise him. Kev and him found each other familiar but they couldn't rmbr where had they met before. keke. Anyway when we finally went to the TP bookshop, only to realise tt it's their stock taking day and we could not go in... Haiz... a wasted trip.

All of us took picture with this little boy... He was sleeping for a few minutes, and...

he got hungry! Crying for milk milk... Nanny feeding little Hector. Guess my mum was hoping tt she will have a grand child soon, too. Haha!!

After the visit my aunt and us went to Rivervale to buy some stuff before she went back again. My mummy, kev and I went to compass point to walk. It's Kev's 1st visit to Compass point wor ;p Anyway, Sengkang is really kinda out of the way... Need to keep changing bus or trains to get home.

Yesterday afternoon, Aunt Wai Fong and Family were @ Kev's Hse, then Uncle Philip came, too.
Kev and I went to Bras Besar. We wanted to go to Art Friend @ 1st, but it was not opened. So we ended up @ Popular.
But we needed to go and meet Min, Hao, Lora and Yixian @ Dhoby Ghaut MRT.
Kev went home after tt coz he was not joining us. The rest of us went to PS BK to have our dinner before we went to Mind's Cafe to meet Lei.

Mind's Cafe is among the row of pubs, which is not very easy to spot actually. Furthermore, it was raining.
We buy the sixer's pkage. So 6 drinks for us, 2 snacks and 1 munchie.

Lei is teaching us the 1st game, "Smart Party". Min and Hao were listening very attentively. Lora had a blur look, as if she was in her own world. Xian is unattentive like me...



Let us begin our 1st game. Min is red, Hao is Blue, Xian is yellow, Lora is white, Lei is orange and I am green. NTU wins over NUS!!! YEah! Wahaha! Lora and Yixian both lost in this game..
But this game is too American-Knowledge based. I find it quite hard too.

Yong Hao teaching us the 2nd game. It seems to be quite similar to Magic Cards.

There are 8 characters.
1) Assasin, 2) Theif, 3) Magician, 4) King, 5) Bishop, 6) Merchant, 7) Architect, 8) Warlord.
I can rmbr ;p
It is quite an interesting game, and really needs some wits.
Yong Hao won eventually...
A game to be recommended but need a person who knows the game to teach.

Our Drinks...

We kept on getting the sushi as if they were free... we still managed to finish them all eventually... Look at the progression of the piling up of dishes... Satisfaction.

Eventually, we ate 40plates of sushi...

Guess how much was the total bill??? It was only $16 after GST and Svc charge. WOW rite? keke... But It was really a fattening meal... Oh.. my weight is increasing, i can feel it...

In the evening, the 4 of us went to Expo Hall 9 to watch "The Magic of Love".

It was quite interesting. I felt tt being the pastor (dunno how to spell lah) and his family need to know so much stuff! magic, dance and sing. After the show, we went to Eunos for dinner before gg home.

Met up with Lora on friday. Wanted to help her mom set up an accounting sys to record her stuff. But none of us knows what her mom really wants. Since her mom is overseas, i think we had to wait till she is back in Singapore before they know wat to do. Didn't help much.

Met my como colleague @ Toa Payoh Central. Wat a coincident ;p

After that, I went to meet Kev, Roysten and Reuven (I dunno how to spell lah) @ Esplanade Haroobee. Whe i was trying to look for the Haroobee, I met Ziwei and Debra. Wat a 2nd coincident! They were here for a concert. When i saw Ziwei's name on my hp, i knew he was @ Esplanade, coz he dun usually call me. hahaha!

Finally found Haroobee which was hidden @ a small little corner. They had juz finish their day's work. Saw alot of art pieces when i was inside. They were really impressive. I wondered if they were really done by pri and sec sch kids. I felt inferior... Haiz... I think you really need talent to be like them.

Yihe came to meet us for dinner. During the dinner, 3rd coincident came, I saw Nazeer @ Marina Sq Fdcourt. Or rather, he saw me. I almost spat my tea.
Anyway, fri is a day where everyone comes out, so not very surprising actually ba.

Later, we went Carl's Jr to have a drink while waiting for Chun to come. I had heard her more than i have seen her. It was our 1st time seeing each other. She is Royston's coursemate, and dances since she was very young. She was really very enthu and very dramatic as wat i previously i heard of, maybe evern more. She is a nice girl overall, juz tt i am not too used her style of communication and expression.

Anyway, when kev and I came back from a toilet break, we saw Yuan Kai and his HR friends. 4th coincident of the day...
Conclusion? Singapore is too small? Singaporeans have only a few places to go? i think a bit of both ba.

Went to Christerson's bday with Kev. There was actually 2 Aloha Changi Chalets. One is beside SAF Chalets, another one is opp SAF chalets. And both named their chalets as Unit A, B, C etc... Wat a confusion... So Christerson had to personally meet us at SAF chalets and bring us to his chalet. There were quite a number of ppl there. Some were from TMS but only 2 from my class... Zhenjie and Nicholas. No other TMS girls...

Before Christerson cut his cake, he had his thank you speech which was rather simple but meaningful. He thked his parents for making him into who he is today. And he reminded us to thk our parents too if we have not. Yeah... Sometimes we forgot or take it for granted that we need to thk our close ones. Parents, Spouse, Bf/Gf, friends etc.

Last Fri night, my whole family went out to Chinatown.
It had been quite some time since our whole family went out tgt. It feels as if we were on an overseas trip. We bought a few karaoke VCDs, updating our collections ;p

Finally, Kev is back on fri night.
On sat, went to kev's house in the morning, and we went to my relative's house warming @ tiong bahru with my parents, sis and aunt. The house looks really small for a 4-room flat. But new houses are mostly like tt. One bed, one wardrobe, and you could hardly have any space to move around in the room.
Cont'd "Rob-B-Hood" which we watched halfway @ Kev's house. And we watched "King Kong". King Kong was a really nice show ;p
And there were 2 kids at my relative's house who are very smart. One 9-yr-old girl who was 2nd in sch, and her younger sis who was only 3yrs old speaking like a 5-yr-old kid. We were all like "wow!". Her look is like 5-yr-old, too! Wat 2 smart kids they have.

Sunday was a working day. So tiring... Royston and Yihe accompanied Kev to wait for me after my work, haha! I "da pai". Lucky got kev with me, if not after working so tired, so sianz then go home alone... My body is still aching from Last Fri's badminton plus standing for the whole doing sales, i feel tt my legs are dying.... Tml still going to cycle, think i need more muscle heat rub.

Went for 4-hrs badminton today... Badminton is always fun ;p
Today got me, irene, xiuzhen, simei, hanwen and gary. Gary treated us the games.

Finished "Full House" yesterday, it gets kinda draggy near the end...
Now i am watching "I am Sam"... Seems to be a really nice show.

Went to change my passport photo yesterday... coz the day b4 yesterday when i go into m'sia, they request me to change the pic. I think i better change, if not have to "put money in the passport", you noe wat i mean? Ha.

Anyway, i really dun like the pic in my passport, so might as well update the pic ba.
Though is a bit blurry, juz for the sake of comparison...

My Sec 3 pic, which was my ugliest haircut... I did the passport coz i needed to go to NZ with the sch then. Anyway the m'sian custom had asked me to change the pic when i went to Genting tt time. But i was quite lazy to do so, and the pic wasn't tt long ago ma... I was 15 when I was sec3, it was only.... erm.. actually... quite long ago hor, 6 yrs ago..
Time really flies... i am so old liao ah *bleah*

Nothing to do in the morning today...
Until afternoon, my brother bring me go m'sia coz he wanna repair a very very minor part of his car, and go there to buy something. Anyway, gd tt i tagged along, coz he treated me CRAYFISH!!! My next favorite after crab ;p Yummy!
The Bah Kut Teh there is not nice. Dun ever wanna eat it again... So expensive somemore.
We were rushing here and there, we went there at 1pm plus and got back to Singapore @ 4pm plus. Fast huh.

Anyway, trying to watch full house, but the DVDs tt i got from kev has no translation... And i dun really like catching the subtitles leh... Sianz...

Went for sentosa yesterday...
I was the 1st to arrive... The n Irene and Meng Shan came but we din see one another and we were waiting @ diff area in the mrt stn. Gary came din see us too, he went to repair his camera instead. Wahaha!!!! All of us quite cock eye.
Han wen came and joined Meng Shan and Irene. Gary came down and joined me. Then Irene called Gary, so the 5 of us gathered tgt ;p

Amin and Simei were late lor... Amin sent his sis off at the airport, and simei came down with a flu. Wanyu got fever, actually can see she abit sick since the day before...

When we reached Sentosa, a muz take pictures spot...


We were still arguing if the "i"in the word "Siloso" is supposed to be standing up or lying down. Let us take a look at the past yr pic and we find out...
Alright... it was indeed lying down... HAHAHA!!! Bo liao.

Anyway, we walked till halfway of Siloso Beach and found 2 empty vball court for use. But they say the net a bit too high and the ones at Rasa Hotel Resort there were lower, so we walked all the way back to where we 1st came from... Finally settled down. Thks Amin for the mat ;p
Paul came when we juz started the vball game. Good timing!

We saw a Pirate Ship!!! hahaha... juz kidding ;p

Played vball for half an hr and the person chased us off the court, coz it's for the hotel customers, outsiders need to pay 25bucks per hr for the court. Hmm... Not worth it, we dun use lor... So we played frisbee and captain ball instead. Spencer came to join us.


After a few tiring games, it's lunch time for us finally, i was starving... Simei, Meng Shan and I took the tram to 7-eleven to buy some food and drinks back for them. Yitian came when we took the tram back to the vball area.
I think we attracted ants... And at the same time, we wanna use another vball court which we saw when we 1st reached sentosa. So we moved our stuff. Paul left us for the union...

It was a lucky day, the ppl using the court was juz about to end their games and they give us the court. At 1st we were thinking whether we need to pay for using the court or not. But we later saw the words printed on the pole... "Use the Court for Free"... Aiya... we shd have juz stayed there when we came in the morning. Simei played halfway, then she went off liao coz she need to get back to ntu for flrball meeting... But we were glad tt she like the presents :D

Enjoyable vball game!!! We kept changing teams and it was really fun but tiring near the end. And my hands are becoming "trotters" again... Red and Swollen.

It started raining when we ended our games, so we took the tram to the washing area to wash up.

While waiting for the rain to stop...

Finally after the rain stopped, we went Vivo City! Makan @ Banquet. The cutlet noodle, laksa there are nice, worth eating ;p Gary ate the jap bucket rice. The bucket looks quite big, but actually they give quite small portion only. Gary felt cheated. keke...

We shopped for a while before Meng Shan went to look for her friends and the rest of us went home.

Monday Time Table registration was a disaster....
We were in sch from 11am to 6.30pm, juz to register for the subjects! wat the...

I dunno wat the sch was doing but they leave so few space for the 2nd spec ppl to register, like every class only got 1 or 2 vacancy for us, and the unpopular timing they leave 5, 7 or 10 vacancy for us... diaoz... I think our timetable would be much more better if we were not in the 2nd spec. Kev anf I are now taking AB214 with non accounting yr 2 grp A ppl, so i think we 2 might become the aliens in tt class... But tt was the only one with the nicer timing which fits into our timetable. It's like almost 10.30 to 4.30, and 5-day wk for us... sianz... very sianz... But luckily only have 1-2 8.30pm class. and only one class is until 6.30pm.

Sometimes i wonder if i am doing the rite thing taking the 2nd spec... i heard tt the title won't even appear on ur cert (this i am not very sure oso lah). But if tt were the case, the 2nd spec would juz end up to be like normal electives. For Law 2nd spec, non 2nd spec students can choose them as electives, juz tt it's compulsory for me to take 5 of the law modules.
And if i can do tt without having to take it as 2nd spec which will be much more flexible for me, then why am i in the 2nd spec for??? less flexible, no priority, no credit, cannot S/U and making life more difficult for myself.

Heck liao lah, now i take employment law instead of negotiation and dispute settlement, coz taking negotiation and dispute settlement would cause my timetable topsy turvy. i was plcing my bet on the employment law module and waiting for someone to drop it. Luckily someone drop tt module at night before the registration close, if not i won't be even get into tt law module which was my last option.

But really very thkful to wanyu, who came all the way down to sch to help me and even stayed with us till 6.30pm! And she's a bit sick i think. Thk you so much!!! I got panicky, I think I won't be able to register for 2 persons on my own... I really owe you a big treat ;p Thk you again, my friend.

Early morning, Kev and I went to Bugis to have breakfast and then we go to the temple and pray...
The temple was under renovation, you can only pray to the picture, as there were no statutes...

Then we went Seiyu for a while, looked for Miyuki to get something and shop for a while before we went back to Kev's House.

There was nothing much to do. Laze ard abit... play computer games... Wanted to watch Rob-B-Hood but the computer could not load... At 1st tot Kev leaving for airport at 5pm, actually the flight is 2310, so we had to wait till night....

Uncle Henry and Uncle Boon Hui came to pick us up, to the airport. Grandma felt really sianz... Left the maid and her at home for a week... I also feel a bit sianz... Kev is only coming back on fri night...

Some of Kev's relatives came to send them off, but little Dominic didn't came. Tot tt can see Dominic... Anyway, uncle boonhui and aunt waihong sent me home. Thks to them, if not i will be going home alone...

My 1st day tt i never get to see Kev for one whole day dunno since when...

Went for breakfast with my mum and sis at Ubi central. There was this cute female snazzle which was really friendly... I think she had lost her way... Poor doggie..
Luckily there was this lady who also has a snazzle at home took her home temporarily, if not i dunno how long she will be roaming outside.

I was late for work today... i was so blur... I noe tt i need to work at 12pm but i dun understand why i kept thinking tt i shd leave for work at 12pm instead... Mind is not working since after examz... Think too many brain cells died during tt period.

While i was rushing for work, i stopped to wait for the traffic light before crossing the road. Across the road at somerset, there is this big TV showing advertisement... And I saw a familiar face... I only confirmed tt she's my friend when they displayed her name, "Valerie Lim". I was quite shocked not because she was on screen, she has the height, so it is not surprised tt she is a model or watever... But now she seems to be dai4 yan2 ren2 for Bausch and Lomb Contact Lens Solution! Haha... It feels so weird to have friends appearing on the national TV... Maybe tt's juz me...

Worked with Sally for the 1st time... All right, but kinda naggy... she repeated the same sentence to me from 1pm to 8.30pm... More than 10times.... So tiring... long time nv do sales liao... now my feet hurt... Gotta go bath liao... tml need to go fight for kev's and my timetables. WE MUZ GET THEM!!! wahaha!!!

Went for a hair cut today... Purposely went to this shop coz my mummy and sis said tt their doggie very cute ;p
