School work is really bz now even thou my timetable seems very slack. So many readings to do, i think 24hrs a day is not enough. So i think you can only see very minimum updates on my blog these few mths...

Last sunday, I went to celebrate Dominic's (Kev's nephew) 2nd bday with Kev and his family @ Paramount Hotel @ Katong. It was buffet style with local delicacies. Little dominic is so excited when he received his presents. And he went "wow-ing" and saying "can-cube" (which means thk u). His favorite present was the batman on a motorbike and the box of this toy which he said was batman's carpark (isn't he creative???)

The food there was all right, they said tt laksa was nice but it's something tt i can't eat... and the soya bean milk was great! The home-made durian puff was quite nice too ;p Hope tt Serene (Dominic's mother) can upload the photos and video soon...


Recently, i juz had a dream...
There were yixian and julia in front of me, excitedly running down the escalator in the MRT stn. And I was following closely behind, and i turned to my back, i saw Christine rushing out of the train very excited towards us. It seems like the 4 of us are going out and having fun.

When i saw Chris, her hair was half tied up, like wat she always do in sec sch and she seems to have her braces still on (my dream is a bit blurry...) I reached out my hand to her and asked her to hurry. At this very moment, the reality came to my mind... I was asking myself, "Isn't Chris still quarrelling with Julia and Xian??? Hmm... maybe they reconcile le ba." I was so happy... Anyway, i dunno wat happened after tt.


On wednesday, Me, Min, Julia, Xian, Lei, Geline and Lora went to Far East Sakura to celebrate Min's bday in advance as Julia is leaving for Taiwan to study in Taipei Uni this Saturday. So it's like a farewell gathering @ the same time. We had fun taking pictures, videos, talking in the restaurant, while walking and when we were @ Lido sitting down. Thks Lora and Xian who brought their digicam.

We wanted to watch "Ghost Game" at first but the timing was too late for all of us, so we juz sat there to chit chat. Lora left early to watch movie with her friend. Then the rest of us sat there and continue to chit chat, then we started to play a game which we usually played in sec sch. Voting of top 3 guys and top 3 girls from TMS. hahaha!!! Now criteria became more stringent as we had to compare their looks in sec and their looks now, some really changed alot (both positive and negative). It was really enjoyable and we had to debate to support our nominees. Geline left us to meet her friend before we could finished the game. The rest of the 5 of us went home only after the results of the game was determined.

Wonder when will we all meet up again, esp julia who will be studying for a few yrs in Taiwan...
We are meeting this Sat to send her off, her flight is @ 1pm. Gonna take more pix with her tt day... think we gonna miss her real bad :-(

School started for 2 weeks liao...

For the 1st week of sch i was kept bz with sch... even have to go back NTU on my free day except for National Day. Buying and Selling of 2nd hand textbook is a really troublesome matchmaking process... but at least all are settled except one or two more deal. Nothing much interesting thing.. except for a few.

For example, we found a new nick name for simei (SM) >> she is now known by serial molestor coz she like to "touch" guys, wahaha! Sorry for spoiling ur reputation, keke.. Dun be angry k? Anyway, noe you for a yr liao and it's only our 1st visit to your hse to do project leh... Your mum's bee hoon was great ;p sorry i can't try her curry, but it was really tempting when i saw the an chun dan (bird's egg i think).

Another thing was tt Kev and I went to Daemon's hse to visit him and his doggy, Bourben. Bourben was very active and cute. Daemon even taught us some of the tricks to play with bourben, for example asking Bourben to fake death, haha!



And a big event for our dear Angeline -- her 21st bday!
It was @ East Coast, The Beach Hut. It was like a sec sch gathering for me as most of our classmates were there. All of our girls went except Min... *cough* haha... They tot it's becoz Kenn*** was there... Wahaha!!! They started gossiping about wat happened in NZ when we were in Sec 3.



Our main character geline was bz entertaining all the guests and also the drinks tt they treated her. She actually vomited on a few friends and her dad's head! wahaha! I think she was too happy liao :p Actually when i was leaving, i felt tt she's a bit "high" already, haha!

julia and xian went back earlier, hx's friend came to fetch her to another gathering.
and i waited for mingyan to come. In the end, i left with Kenneth and Qiyang, and lora wait for her friend to come and pick her up. The 2 couples (Lei and Alex, Ziwei and Debra) went to Mustafa to shop. I went there once b4, but i dun quite like it there. Maybe it had changed liao ba...

There was a malay wedding @ my void deck. I think the groom muz be a Yamaha bike lover...

This pic only capture part of the "crowd". There are like 30 to 50 Yamaha motorbikes, Vrooming, making alot of noise tt gave me a fright. It's Chinese ghost festival now leh. The sound is so loud and scary lor... But i think they enjoyed it lah, anyway ppl's wedding, dun spoil their mood and go complain maa.

Celebrated lei's bday today @ Lemongrass Heeren. Min could not come due to stomach-ache, and Kev last min had family gathering. Luckily she loves the watch tt we gave. She loves all presents actually, esp the scrap book done by geline, which was filled with effort and love. Geline oso gave her a wristlet (I dunno how to spell). Not forgetting the army top from Ziwei and Debra, and Mr. Mah blurt out so proudly tt the present was bought last minute, keke...

The food there was good i think. Too bad i dun take spicy food. Julia said the soup was superb! The service was not bad too ;p It was a pleasant meal i felt.

We took a few pix b4 we left there.

After tt we split ways. Hx, xian, julia and i went to Nokia care @ Wheelock. Only to find out after tt tt Hx's phone had nothing wrong @ all! It's juz tt she was pressing the wrong button since yesterday after she juz got her phone!

Slacked ard the whole day...

Kev came my house, so we played mahjong. My brother is the big winner... All of us lost. I lost the most, Kev lost the least and my mum in the middle... Ì won only 2 games lor... sianz. My brother's luck is very good lor... 4 animals all went to him! And he won tt round! So we lost alot to him in tt round.

And i forgot tt i need to go and give tuition!!! Luckily, the tuition kid oso dunno wat are the days i was supposed to go.. *phew*

We had decided to go xiuzhen's house to play mahjong tonight. But b4 tt, kev came my hse and we decided to play mj with my brother and mother again. This time i got win a bit but my brother still remained as the biggest winner. My mum lost the most this time, coz she only won 1 game! haha! Kev lost oso but not as much as my mum ;p

Anyway, we met another lucky person at night. She was Simei. She was the biggest winner lor... dunno why all the tiles she wanted juz go to her, maybe it was becoz she was sitting at the seat in front of the Goddess ba.

Overall, kev and I won only a little bit, so it's juz not losing lor, yet not winning. Gary lost the most... dunno wat happened, think he won too much the other day, so it's a karma, keke... Hanwen lost overall, which was quite unexpected coz he won quite a few games thru out the few rounds.

Xiuzhen was sleeping after the 1st game, and simei was too happy tt she was winning so she dun wanna wake xiuzhen up to take her plc. Wahaha!!! The host was sleeping and the guests are entertaining themselves... haha!

Wanted to go and getting lei's present tgt, but i was too tired from the mj session last nite. I went home and slp till afternoon and i gotta wake up liao coz i needed to give tuition! Not to forget about my dear little jason again.

As usual, he's feeling lethargic and sleepy when it comes to Chinese. Tagolor was his main language actually, so it's undersatndable lah. He only uses memorization to pass his spelling.

Kev came to pick me up after my tuition and sent me home.
We went to the mrt to purchase concession. And blur me bought only the bus concession instead of the hybrid concession... *diaoz* So i had to wait till i have time to go to the tix office and ask them to help me settle with this.

Worked at Robinson RC today. The sales was not bad only at night. Think it's bcoz it's fri night and robinson extended its hrs to 11pm.

It feels really good to have someone to send you home after a tired day at work. Thks, Kev ;p

Went for Kev's sis, Karin's performance @ Victoria concert hall. It is a performance done by the Band, Guitar Ensemble and Tampines ECC. Karin is in the Guitar Ensemble.

I could not comment on whether they were good or not, coz i know nuts about music... But i felt the pieces performed by the band were quite boring... The pieces performed by the Guitar Ensemble was much refreshing and interesting. Guitar ensemble had even tried to insert something new, a rock band! Althou' i felt it was done not too well, it's a good try...

2 performers tt left deep impression would be the guy from Guitar Ensemble who was the lead guitarist in the small grp performance, and the guy from Tampines ECC who was really very serious in his performance and stood out among the others ;p

There was a "Very Special Arts" Sales Exhibition @ Raffles City on Sunday when i pass by the central stage while i was gg for work. Since i still had some time b4 my work start, i took a look @ the art pieces.

They were drawn by ppl with disability, and i was rather attracted by the art pieces done by a visually disabled lady by the name of Chng Seok Tin. I dunno why, but every piece of the print making art piece tt attracts me is done by her. Does tt mean i appreciate her artistic expression in the print making??? I think so ba. Visually impaired doesn't stop her @ all, her art pieces were really beautiful!

Anyway, i couldn't afford to buy them lah, they cost from about $700-$2,000... So i better get my butt off and go for work.

Today is a very quiet day, dunno where had all the ppl gone to. Tt means very boring for me and time passes really slow. Luckily got Ivy to talk to and Jenny from Perlini to eat lunch with me.

Kev came to picked me up after work and we went to bras besah to have tea. At the food court, kev tot tt the lady sitting opp the old lady was crazy bcoz of her exaggerated movements and actions. We almost wanted to ask the old lady to sit with us coz kev said tt she looked frightened by tt crazy lady. But i rmbr tt these 2 ladies came into the food court and sat down tgt, kev realised tt they seemed to know each other too... Haha.. so it's all a misunderstanding, they knew each other, and i think tt lady is not crazy ba... *shrug*

Pancake Day :p
We made pancakes at kev's hse. It's quite fun and easy for us coz the most difficult part was already done by his grandma. His grandma had made the batter for us liao, so we juz need to pour it into the pan and flip the pancake a bit till it's cooked.
